School Closing Information
Inclement weather is a concern for both staff and parents during the winter season. Occasionally, inclement weather and other safety or health conditions will require Riverbank Charter School of Excellence to close or delay the opening of school.
Information about a closure or delayed opening for Riverbank Charter School of Excellence can be obtained by watching television, tuning into Florence Township TV, listening to the radio, or checking the internet for announcements regarding Florence Township Public Schools. (Riverbank Charter School of Excellence will not be announced!)
For announcements concerning emergencies or changes in the daily schedule, families will receive a phone call from the PostCall system. Information will be posted on the schools Facebook page and an email will be sent as well.
If Florence Township Public Schools are closed, Riverbank Charter School of Excellence will be closed. If Florence Township Public Schools have a delayed opening, Riverbank Charter School of Excellence will have a delayed opening.
Before and After Care Program
The Before Care Program at Riverbank Charter School of Excellence Calendar and will not be open when there is a delayed opening.
If Riverbank Charter School of Excellence is closed or closes early for inclement weather, The After Care Program will be closed.

1 Hour Delayed Opening
School doors will open at 9:15 am
90 Minute Delay Opening
School doors will open at 9:45 am
2 Hour Delayed Opening
School doors will open at 10:15am
