Riverbank Charter School of Excellence’s Admission Policy & Criteria

  • Priority is given to students within the Riverbank Charter School of Excellence District of residence.  If spaces are open after the district of residence selection, non-residents will be eligible for enrollment.
  • Enrollment priority will be given to siblings of a student enrolled in Riverbank Charter School of Excellence.
  • A lottery process will be used to determine admission if there are more applicants for admission than space available.

The purpose of the waiting list is to further make equitable the opportunity for admission to Riverbank Charter School of Excellence.  In the event that a student chosen from the lottery drawing is unable or unwilling to attend,
available spaces will be filled from names chosen off the waiting list in the order of their placement on the list.

  • Once a child is admitted as a student at Riverbank Charter School of Excellence, his/her enrollment is guaranteed throughout the grade sequence providing that enrollment is continuous from year to year.
